Friday night’s varsity baseball game between Sheridan and Indianapolis Washington was called after four innings because of darkness with the Blackhawks leading 22-2.

Sheridan opened the onslaught with four runs in the top of the first inning and followed with 10 runs in the second.

Washington pushed two runs across in the bottom of the frame, but Sheridan answered with another eight runs in the third.

Cameron Hovey led the Blackhawks with five RBI on a hit and a walk. Corbin Went knocked in two runs on a pair of hits and Jacob Vita, Luke Chesney, Kyle Archer, Cole Bales, Reese Fisher, Walker Casler and Cole Cummings each logged an RBI.

Sean Speck earned the win on the mound, allowing two runs on one hit in two innings.
