In honor of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the most notorious
concentration camp in the Holocaust, the Sheridan Public Library, 103 W. 1st St. in Sheridan, will be offering a public showing of the documentary: Eva: A-7063: A Holocaust survivor’s fight to heal the world Thursday at 6 p.m.
“At the age of 10, Eva Mozes Kor fought through the worst the Holocaust had to offer – being experimented on as one of “Mengele’ s twins” at Auschwitz. At 50, she helped launch the biggest manhunt in history. At 84, after decades of pain and anger, she traveled the world to promote what her life journey has taught:
Hope. Healing. Humanity.”
Kor was a resident of Terre Haute, Indiana for 59 years prior to her death July 4.
