Brenda J. Godbey-Bennett passed away Tuesday Jan. 26, 2021 in Noblesville.
She was born March 11, 1943 to the late Sterling and Virginia (Ashcraft) Reeves in Carrollton, Ky.
She graduated from Noblesville High School, class of 1961.
Mrs. Godbey-Bennett went to work for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Noblesville. After she retired from Firestone, she enjoyed it by spending time with her family and pets. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors include her two sons, Timothy (Alicia) Godbey of Sheridan and Rondall (Kathy) Godbey of Oakland, Tenn.; grandchildren Alan and Craig Godbey of Sheridan and Hannah Godbey of Oakland, Tenn.; great-grandchildren Brantley and Bain; brothers, Jerry Reeves of Indianapolis and Richard (Lois) Reeves of Sheridan; her sister, Rozetta (Ronald) Pearson of Beverly Hills, Fla.; and her special brother-in-law Bob who helped her out so much.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald Godbey in 1974 and her late husband Donald Bennett in 2009; a son, David Godbey in 2007; and her three sisters, Linda Carter in 2000, Carolyn Johnson in 2011 and Peggy Lewis in 2015.
Private services are scheduled, but everyone is invited to view the service on Facebook Live on Saturday Jan. 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Fisher Family Funeral Services Facebook page.
