Dakotah Joseph Spurgeon, 25, Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 9, 1995, he was the son of David J. and April Dawn (Burnell) Spurgeon.
Mr. Spurgeon was a 2014 graduate of North Montgomery High School in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was currently working as an operator with Waste Management at their Hamilton County transfer station.

Survivors include his parents; maternal grandmother, Dottie Beard of Sheridan; and by his canine BFF's, Stormy and Lela.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Spurgeon and Wanda Spurgeon-Smith; and his maternal grandfather, Louis Burnell.
Private family services are being held at this time. Mr. Spurgeon will be laid to rest at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan. Pastor Bill Salsbery will be officiating.
Memorial contributions may be presented to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
