Lynn P. (Purdy) Hume, 71, a lifelong resident of Sheridan, passed away on Sept. 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

She tended to her flower gardens each spring, then watched the gardens flourish from her gazebo throughout the summer months. Her favorite pastimes were baking and cooking for her family and friends. She loved to bake for her family just as much as they enjoyed savoring her treats. She earned her career as a letter carrier.
