Steven Rand England, 62, passed from this world surrounded by his loving family at his home in Beckville, Ind. on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2020.
Born July 7, 1957 in Ottawa, Illinois, he was the son of the late Lee and Maris (Hook) England.
Mr. England grew up in Columbus, Ind. where he attended Columbus East High School. Later he moved to the Indianapolis area to find work as a carpenter. He was a gifted artist who enjoyed a successful career as a master carpenter and custom furniture maker. He also enjoyed music and traveling, always on the lookout for new adventures. Mr. England had a kind, loving spirit, as well as a great dislike for injustice in all its forms.
Survivors include his loving partner, Kimberly Stuart of Beckville; three sons, Ross (Nicole) England of Columbus, Job (fiancé Heather) England of Hope, Ind. and Jeremy (Heather) Nichols of Paoli; two step-sons, Josh Waltz of Anderson, and Dillon Hounshell of Martinsville; 14 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild with another on the way; four brothers, Russell (Rita) England, Rick England, Reed (Ramona) England and Brad England.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Regina England Runyon; his infant son, Steven Rand “Randy” Dickmeyer; and by his loving wife, Lisa England on Jan. 11, 2014. She and Steven were married in 1995.
He will be eternally missed by the many people whose lives were touched by knowing him.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
